Common questions

Is it free? Yes. Planning your week, keeping your recipes, and sending the shop to Reminders are all free, forever. TeaTonight Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks extras like recipe import and unlimited recipes — £19.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial.

Where's my data? On your phone, and — if you are signed in to iCloud — backed up privately to your own iCloud account. We cannot see it. There is no TeaTonight account and nothing is stored on our servers. To remove everything, use Me → Delete My Data in the app.

Is it iPhone only? Yes, for now. TeaTonight is built just for iPhone and needs a recent version of iOS. There is no iPad, Android, or web version yet.

How does recipe import work? Take a photo of a recipe, or paste a link, and TeaTonight reads it and types it in for you to review. The photo or link is sent to our processing service for that one request and kept by no one. Imported recipes can contain mistakes, so check them against the original before cooking. Import is a Plus feature.

How do I cancel? Subscriptions are handled by the App Store, not by us. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, choose TeaTonight, and cancel. You keep Plus until the end of the period you have already paid for.
